After moving in with her boyfriend to their new home, Mila begins to realize her loss of desire lies deep within. She undergoes a self-exploration journey in which she revisits experiences of her childhood and adolescence in hopes to reconcile with her own body.

U jesen 2007. godine, Pasqualu Maragallu (bivšem predsjedniku Katalonije i bivšem gradonačelniku Barcelone) dijagnosticirana je Alzheimerova bolest. Nakon inicijalnog šoka, on i njegova porodica kreću u krstački rat protiv bolesti, čemu ovaj film najbolje svjedoči. S inteligencijom, iskrenošću i duhovitošću, Maragall dopušta da ga prikažu sa svojom porodicom i ljekarima kako bi njegova svakodnevna, lična borba ostala zabilježenom. Dvije godine praćenja ovog iznimnog pacijenta, odlučnog da će naučnici pronaći lijek za ovu bolest prije nego što se brojka od 26 miliona oboljelih širom svijeta multiplicira 10 puta. Težak film, ali uprkos svemu, i optimističan.

In the autumn of 2007, Pasqual Maragall (Former President of Catalonia and former Mayor of Barcelona) was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. After the hard blow, he and his family began a crusade against the disease, of which this film becomes an exceptional witness. With intelligence, sincerity and good humour, Maragall allows himself to be portrayed with his family and doctors to record the day-to-day of his personal struggle. Two years of following an exceptional patient, determined that scientists will find a cure before the number of 26 million patients in the world multiplies by 10. A tough film, but optimistic in spite of everything.

En la tardor del 2007, a Pasqual Maragall se li diagnostica la malaltia d’Alzheimer. Després del dur cop, ell i la seva família inicien una batalla contra la malaltia, i des del primer moment, aquesta pel•lícula es converteix en testimoni excepcional.
Amb intel•ligència, sinceritat i bon humor, l’expresident de la Generalitat es deixa retratar al costat de la seva família i els metges per deixar constància del dia a dia de la seva lluita personal. Dos anys de seguiment a un pacient excepcional decidit a que els científics trobin la cura abans que la xifra de 26 milions de malalts al món es multipliqui per 10. Una pel•lícula dura però, malgrat tot, optimista.

Odnos između Alicie i njezinog sina Joana zasnovan je na potpunoj majčinskoj dominaciji. Tokom jedne od svojih uobičajenih misija, Joan se povinuje majčinim naređenjima i odlazi u kino. Patricia i Linda, dvije šesnaestogodišnje učenice odlučuju otići na jutarnju projekciju filma. Hipnotički aspekti filma koji gledaju uvode ih u čudnu situaciju. Gledatelji filma će tokom projekcije biti podvrgnuti subliminalnim porukama i blagom vidu hipnoze. Ništa od toga neće izazvati fizičke posljedice, ali ako iz bilo kog razloga izgube kontrolu ili osjete da se njihov um udaljuje od realnosti, važno je da se zaustave.

The relationship between Alícia and her son Joan is one of total maternal dominance. On one of his usual missions, Joan obeys his mother’s orders and heads to a cinema. Patrícia and Linda, two sixteen-year-old students, decide to attend a morning film screening. The hypnotic aspects of the film they watch lead them into a strange situation. The viewer will watch a film during which they will be subjected to subliminal messages and a mild form of hypnosis. None of this will cause any physical harm, but if for any reason they lose control or feel their mind drifting away from reality, it is important to stop.

La relació entre Alícia i el seu fill Joan és de total domini matern. En una de les seves habituals missions, en Joan obeeix les ordres de la seva mare i es dirigeix a un cinema. La Patrícia i la Linda, dues estudiants de setze anys d’edat, decideixen anar-se’n a una sessió matinal de cinema. Els aspectes hipnòtics del film que veuen fan que es trobin en una estranya situació. L’espectador veurà un film durant el qual estarà sotmès a missatges subliminars i a una forma suau d’hipnosi. Res de tot això no li causarà cap mal físic, però, si per qualsevol motiu perd el control o nota que la seva ment es va allunyant de la realitat, cal deixar-ho córrer.

To Die: Seven independent stories that culminate in the death of one of the main characters. A film director who wants to get out of his creative rut. A heroin addict who can’t resist drugs. A girl who chokes on chicken bones. A patient who can’t reach the hospital alarm button. A hysterical woman who stuffs herself with pills and Agua del Carmen. A young motorcyclist run over by the police. An executive who is the victim of a hitman. Not to Die: The seven stories are linked, in a humorous way, into one: nobody dies and all the characters are related to each other. Is it a second chance granted by fate?

Un director de cinema que lluita per alliberar-se del seu bloqueig creatiu, un drogoaddicte que no pot resistir-se a l’heroïna, una nena que s’ennuega amb un os de pollastre; un jove motorista atropellat per la policia; un executiu assassinat per un sicari… O no: les set històries es junten en una, amb un toc d’humor. Ningú mor i els personatges s’interrelacionen. És una segona oportunitat concedida pel destí?

U ranim jutarnjim satima 8. novembra 1930. godine, pariski advokat Fleury izašao je u potragu za odgovarajućom svjetlošću kako bi dovršio snimanje pejsaža oko jezera Le Thuit. Istoga dana, advokat umire u nejasnim okolnostima. Ovaj film je tihi omaž sâmim počecima kinematografije, rekreiranjem očiglednog nestanka francuskog fotografa 20-ih godina prošlog vijeka. Eksperimentalno.

In the early hours of November 8, 1930, the Parisian lawyer and amateur filmmaker Fleury went out in search of the right light to complete a landscape filming around Lake Le Thuit. That same day, the lawyer died under strange circumstances. A silent homage to the origins of cinema, recreating the apparent disappearance of a French photographer in the 1920s. Experimental.

A les primeres hores del 8 de novembre de 1930, l’advocat parisenc Fleury va sortir a la recerca de la llum adequada per completar una filmació de paisatge al voltant del llac Le Thuit. Aquell mateix dia, l’advocat va morir en circumstàncies misterioses. Un homenatge silenciós als orígens del cinema, recreant la desaparició aparent d’un fotògraf francès als anys 1920. Experimental.

Jedan od najreprezentativnijih igranih filmova Barcelonske škole. Ne prateći preciznu fabulu, ovaj film je odraz tadašnjeg društva i ispraznosti riječi. Enrique Irazoqui, koji je prethodno igrao Hrista u Pasolinijevom filmu Vangelo secondo Matteo, glumi u ovom igranom filmu koji je trebao biti film-manifest, poput onoga što je Paris vu par…značio za francuski Novi val, sastavljen od nekoliko epizoda. Međutim, Gonzalo Suárez, Antoni de Senillosa, Ricard Bofill, and Pere Portabella su se distancirali projekta. Na koncu su dvije episode Esteva and Jordà spojene u jednu, rezultirajući filmom transgresivnog duha koji se odvojio od konvencionalnog narativa.

One of the most representative feature films of the Barcelona School. Without following any precise plotline, it is a reflection on the society of the time and the emptiness of words. Enrique Irazoqui, who had previously portrayed Christ in Pasolini’s Il Vangelo secondo Matteo, stars in this feature film that was intended to be a manifesto film — similar to what Paris vu par… meant for the Nouvelle Vague — composed of several episodes. However, Gonzalo Suárez, Antoni de Senillosa, Ricard Bofill, and Pere Portabella distanced themselves from the project. In the end, Esteva and Jordà’s two episodes were joined, resulting in a film with a transgressive spirit that broke away from conventional narrative.

Un dels llargmetratges més representatius de l’Escola de Barcelona. Sense tenir cap línia argumental precisa, és una reflexió sobre la societat del moment i la buidor de les paraules. Enrique Irazoqui, que abans havia encarnat Crist a Il vangelo secondo Matteo, de Pasolini, protagonitza aquest llargmetratge que havia de ser un film manifest —semblant al que va significar Paris vue par… per a la Nouvelle Vague— constituït per diversos episodis però del qual es van desvincular Gonzalo Suárez, Antoni de Senillosa, Ricard Bofill i Pere Portabella. Finalment es van unir els dos episodis d’Esteva i Jordà per donar com a resultat un film d’esperit transgressor que trencava amb la narrativa convencional.

Tokom Drugog svjetskog rata, Dr. Klaus (Günter Meisner) mučio je, ubijao i zlostavljao mnoštvo djece u nacističkim koncentracijskim logorima. Nakon rata, pokušaj samoubojstva ga je ostavio zakovanim za željezna pluća, uz njegu supruge Griselde (Marisa Paredes) i kćeri Rene (Gisèle Echevarría). Pojavom mladića koji nudi da se brine o njemu, između njih dvojice se uspostavlja mučan odnos, zasnovan na želji, osveti i opčinjenošću zlom.

During World War II, Dr. Klaus (Günter Meisner) tortured, murdered and abused scores of children in Nazi concentration camps. After the war, a suicide attempt forces him to remain connected to an iron lung, helped only by his wife Griselda (Marisa Paredes) and his daughter Rena (Gisèle Echevarría). The appearance of a young man who offers to take care of him will establish a sordid relationship between them based on desire, revenge and fascination with evil.

Durant la Segona Guerra Mundial, el Dr. Klaus (Günter Meisner) va torturar, assassinar i abusar de nombrosos infants en camps de concentració nazis. Després de la guerra, un intent de suïcidi l’obliga a mantenir-se connectat a un pulmó d’acer, ajudat només per la seva dona Griselda (Marisa Paredes) i la seva filla Rena (Gisèle Echevarría). L’aparició d’un jove que s’ofereix a cuidar-lo establirà una relació sòrdida entre ells, basada en el desig, la venjança i la fascinació pel mal.
